About the event
Members of UTE Toronto North are invited to join us for our first in-person Annual General Meeting since 2019. Now is a critical time for our union as the recently concluded strike action has highlighted the flaws in our system. The local will bring amendments to the by-laws to establish a local strike fund top-up. That's why we need as many members as possible to participate and decide on this important issue.
We will be welcoming many new members to join us on June 25, 2023 for the Annual General Meeting. We will be providing a buffet style meal, presenting our budget for 2023, audited finanial statements and presenting by-law changes.
The event is free to members of the local, however, a $10 refundable ticket is required to reserve your reservation. After you have RSVP'd, you must then e-transfer $10 to the local in order to complete the reservation. E-transfers must be sent to admin@ute-local48.org with your name in the comment field. Upon entry to the event, members will be refunded the full $10. Members that do not attend will not be refunded.
