We are excited to announce the upcoming election for key leadership positions within our local. This is a critical opportunity for all members to actively participate in shaping the future direction of our union.
The following positions will be up for election:
President
Vice President (TSO)
Vice President (Contact Centre)
Treasurer
Secretary
Director (9)
Each position has a term of three years. You can find descriptions of the duties and responsibilities of each of the Executive Council position in Regulation 2 of the By-Laws and Regulations of UTE Local 00048.
The election process will be conducted according to the guidelines outlined in our local’s by-laws, ensuring transparency, fairness, and democratic principles.
We encourage all eligible members to consider running for these leadership positions or to nominate qualified candidates who are committed to advocating for the best interests of our union membership.

Election Dates: May 2-3, 2024
Voting will be conducted online
Eligibility Criteria for Candidates: Nominees must be members in good standing of Toronto North, Local 00048
